About the Centre for Interdisciplinary Archaeological Research (CIAR): The Centre for Interdisciplinary Archaeological Research (CIAR) at Ashoka University is a facility that brings together archaeology and the sciences to offer new perspectives that will deepen the study of the Indian past. It carries out interdisciplinary field-based projects throughout India, especially related to the archaeology of forested spaces.
