Senior Business Analyst Responsibilities:

- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct in-depth meetings and interviews with stakeholders to gather and understand business needs. Analyze and document requirements comprehensively, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Utilize excellent listening skills to discern and extract key information from discussions.
- Documentation and Communication: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Produce clear and concise reports, communicating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Data Analysis and Solution Development: Utilize analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identifying trends and insights to drive decision-making. Collaborate with development teams to design and develop innovative solutions aligned with business objectives. Leverage expertise to suggest improvements and enhancements to existing systems and processes.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership in project initiatives, guiding and mentoring junior analysts as needed. Offer strategic insights based on extensive development experience to steer projects in the right direction.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a Business Analyst role.
- Solid expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum , etc.).
- Exceptional listening and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with a strong understanding of development processes and methodologies.
- Proven leadership abilities, including the mentorship of junior team members and the capacity to lead project initiatives effectively.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) .
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Experience in data analysis and SQL querying preferred.
