About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Chartered Accountant with solid experience in statutory audits within a CA firm environment. The role involves independently handling audit assignments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality client service across industries.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Audit Execution & Planning

- Plan and execute statutory audits in accordance with Standards on Auditing (SA) India
- Develop audit strategies, risk assessment, and audit programs
- Conduct test checks, substantive procedures, and analytical reviews
- Ensure proper documentation of audit working papers

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with:
- Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
- Accounting Standards (AS) India

- Ensure compliance with:

- Companies Act, 2013 India
- Income Tax Act, 1961 India

- Draft audit reports including CARO, tax audit reports, and certifications

3. Internal Controls & Risk Assessment

- Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal financial controls (IFC)
- Identify control gaps and recommend improvements
- Perform risk-based audit procedures

4. Client Management

- Act as a primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements




- Coordinate for data collection, clarification, and issue resolution
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships

5. Team Handling & Review

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

- Timely completion of audit assignments
- Quality of audit documentation and reporting
- Client satisfaction and retention
- Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Effective team supervision and utilization

Technical Skills Required:

- Solid working knowledge of:
- Auditing Standards (SA)
- Financial reporting frameworks

- Proficiency in:

- MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Tally / ERP systems
- Audit tools and documentation software

Behavioural Competencies:

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional integrity and ethical approach

Preferred Profile:

- Experience in mid-size or reputed CA firms
- Exposure to multi-industry clients (manufacturing, services, startups)
- Knowledge of ROC compliance and filings
- Experience in handling end-to-end audit assignments independently
