Experience

10 to 20 Years preferably in Educational Institutions, Universities, Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, or Multi-unit Organizations

Qualification

- CA / CMA / ICWA / MBA Finance
- Strong knowledge in accounting standards, audit, taxation, budgeting, and financial controls

Age Criteria

35 to 48 Years

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

- Oversee complete finance and accounts operations of the institution
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records
- Monitor daily cash flow, banking, and fund management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Budgeting & Cost Control

- Prepare annual budgets and departmental budgets
- Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis
- Implement cost control measures across departments
- Review operational expenses and optimize financial efficiency

Fee & Revenue Monitoring

- Supervise student fee collections and receivables
- Monitor scholarships, concessions, hostel collections, transport revenue, and grants
- Ensure proper reconciliation of student accounts and ERP data

Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance reviews
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements
- Maintain proper documentation for regulatory authorities and accreditation bodies

Internal Financial Controls





- Establish strong internal financial controls and approval systems
- Prevent revenue leakage and financial irregularities
- Monitor procurement controls, vendor payments, and asset management
- Ensure segregation of duties and financial discipline

MIS & Reporting

- Generate financial MIS reports for management review
- Present profitability, expenditure analysis, and operational financial reports
- Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making

ERP & Systems

- Ensure effective utilization of ERP/accounting software
- Improve automation in finance and reporting processes
- Coordinate with IT and administration for finance system improvements

Team Management

- Lead and supervise accounts executives, cashiers, auditors, and finance staff
- Conduct periodic review meetings and performance monitoring
- Train finance team on compliance and reporting standards

- Knowledge of educational institution finance operations preferred
- Solid ERP and Excel proficiency
