About GAJ GROUP
GAJ GROUP is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization's financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare, update, and maintain books of accounts.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle GST compliance, including return filing and reconciliation.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and other management reports.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, taxation, and bank reconciliation.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

- Experience in preparing MIS and financial reports.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
