We are looking for dynamic and customer-focused Junior Officers (Marketing & Operations) to join our branch banking team. The selected candidates will be responsible for handling branch operations, customer service, and marketing of the Bank's products while achieving the assigned business targets.
Junior Officers are required to perform clerical duties along with customer-facing responsibilities. They are expected to actively promote and sell the Bank's products and third-party financial products while efficiently managing day-to-day branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities
- Source leads and develop new prospects and clients for the Bank.
- Promote and sell banking products and third-party financial products.
- Achieve the assigned marketing and sales targets.
- Contribute to branch campaigns, business drives, and projects to achieve business objectives.
Branch Operations
Attend to customers visiting the branch for account opening and guide them through banking processes and procedures.
- Facilitate branch banking transactions through both physical and digital channels.
- Process banking transactions using the Bank's software.
- Perform the role of Maker for transactions related to:
- Account Opening
- Clearing
- Cash Operations
- Term Deposits
- Demat Services
- Locker Operations
- Loans
- Digital Banking
- Marketing of Banking Products
Operational Responsibilities-
- Maintain books of accounts and branch registers such as:
- Limit Register
- Hypothecation Register (Loan Related)
- Recovery Notices & Reminder Records
- Interest Certificate Records
- Work as a Cashier and maintain:
- Torn & Soiled Notes Register
- Key Exchange Register
- Other cash-related records.
- Handle inward and outward cheque clearing operations, including:
- Accepting local cheques for collection.
- Affixing required stamps.
- Maintaining clearing registers.
- Preparing patties and schedules.
- Ensuring timely clearing submission.
- Reconciling inward and outward clearing.
- Recording dispatch and lodgement.
- Handling unpaid cheque returns as instructed by the Branch Manager or Officer-in-Charge.
- Perform front-office, recovery, and other operational responsibilities based on business requirements.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by reporting managers or superiors within the scope of the role.
