We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 years of experience in product design and engineering. The candidate should have robust knowledge of CAD software, engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes. The role involves designing mechanical components, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with production teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products.
- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA).
- Apply GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering standards in design.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Review and modify existing designs based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams during product development.
- Perform design calculations and feasibility studies.
- Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control.
- Required SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (Creo/CATIA is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of sheet metal, machining, welding, and fabrication.
- Knowledge of material selection and design calculations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
