Job ProfileExperienced Site Engineer specializing in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures, responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising structural steel erection, roofing, cladding, and finishing works. Skilled in ensuring protected, high-quality, and timely execution while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise complete erection of PEB structures, including primary and secondary steel members.
- Monitor installation of columns, rafters, beams, purlins, girts, bracings, and structural connections.
- Coordinate erection of roofing sheets, wall cladding, ridge ventilators, gutters, downpipes, skylights, and accessories.
- Review structural drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings before execution.
- Plan daily work activities, labour deployment, equipment utilization, and material availability.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams for timely delivery of structural components.
- Verify line, level, plumb, alignment, bolt tightening,
and dimensional accuracy during erection.
- Supervise crane operations, lifting plans, and safe handling of structural members.
- Ensure erection work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), and material consumption reports.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and QA/QC engineers and close observations promptly.
- Maintain measurement records, billing quantities, and work completion documentation.
- Coordinate with civil teams to verify anchor bolts, foundation levels, and base plate alignment before steel erection.
- Monitor project schedules to achieve timely completion within budget.
- Ensure implementation of HSE procedures, PPE compliance, work-at-height safety, and lifting safety practices.
