Civil Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage our residential construction project (Stilt + 5 Floors). The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of structural and finishing works in residential buildings, along with proven experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating all site activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on schedule, within quality standards, and in compliance with safety and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per the project schedule.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality standards and resolve technical issues.
- Inspect and monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing works.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, material estimates, and monitor material consumption.
- Review contractor bills, subcontractor measurements,



and client billing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes.
- Monitor labor productivity and optimize the use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and project documentation.
- Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of construction materials.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination meetings.
- Prepare snag lists, monitor rectification works, and ensure successful project handover.
- Ensure high-quality execution of finishing works, including flooring, painting, doors, windows, plumbing, and electrical coordination.
