Job SummaryAirtel Payments Bank is hiring an experienced Team Leader – Merchant Acquisition to lead and manage a team of field sales executives responsible for merchant onboarding. The ideal candidate should have solid leadership skills, field sales experience, and a proven track record of achieving merchant acquisition targets.

- Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Merchant Sales Executives.
- Drive merchant acquisition and QR/Soundbox onboarding in the assigned territory.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly merchant onboarding targets.
- Monitor field performance and provide coaching to improve productivity.
- Support the team in closing high-value merchant opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and mentor new field sales executives.
- Maintain daily sales reports and MIS.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant activation and issue resolution.




- Ensure compliance with KYC and company guidelines during merchant onboarding.
- Preferred ExperienceMinimum 6 months of experience in Merchant Onboarding.
- Experience with any of the following companies is preferred:

- Paytm
- PhonePe
- Google Pay (GPay)
- BharatPe
- MobiKwik
- Airtel Payments Bank
- Any Fintech or Banking organization
- Prior experience as a Team Leader or handling a field sales team is an added advantage.
- EligibilityMinimum 12th Pass / Any Graduate.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in merchant QR/Soundbox onboarding is mandatory.
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
- Willing to travel within the assigned area.
