Key Responsibilities

- Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documents.
- Perform precision alignment, fitting, drilling, tapping, fastening, riveting, and hardware installation.
- Assemble doors, hinges, locking mechanisms, pneumatic components, cable trays, racks, and structural frames.
- Install accessories such as fans, filters, cable entries, lighting fixtures, and other mechanical components.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and measuring tapes.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformities during assembly.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and Stores teams for smooth execution.
- Perform functional inspections and quality checks before handing over products to the Quality team.
- Maintain production records and assembly documentation.
