The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based enterprise application development, a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, and practical experience leveraging AI technologies to build intelligent products and improve engineering productivity.This is a highly technical leadership role where the candidate is expected to drive architecture, mentor engineering teams, make strategic technology decisions, and remain hands-on with design and critical development activities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications using Java technologies.Drive engineering excellence, technical strategy, and best practices across multiple development teams.Manage and mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and software engineers.Participate in hands-on architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and solution implementation.Build scalable, secure,



and high-performance distributed systems.Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering practices and contemporary software development methodologies.Work closely with business stakeholders, product management, and customers to define technical roadmaps.Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML, Generative AI, and automation to improve products and engineering efficiency.Ensure high-quality software delivery through Agile and DevOps practices.Own technical governance, engineering standards, scalability, security, and performance.Required SkillsTechnical Expertise15+ years of software development experience.Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Microservices.Deep understanding of Distributed Systems and Enterprise Architecture.Robust experience in REST APIs, Messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), Multithreading, JVM Performance Tuning.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Strong database knowledge (SQL & NoSQL).Excellent understanding of System Design, Design Patterns, and scalable architecture.Leadership ExperienceProven experience leading large engineering teams (30+ engineers preferred).Experience managing Engineering Managers and Technical Leads.Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.Ability to drive technical transformation and organizational growth.Experience delivering multiple enterprise-scale programs simultaneously.
