Job Title: Blue Yonder Functional SME

We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder Functional SME to provide functional expertise across Blue Yonder solutions within the retail and supply chain domain. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary functional expert for assigned modules, partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and support solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise & Solution Delivery

- Serve as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Blue Yonder modules, including Merchandising Operations, Fulfill, and Luminate Allocation.
- Lead functional discussions during solution design, implementation, and production support activities.
- Participate in incident and problem management discussions, providing functional analysis and supporting root cause identification.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to evaluate business requirements against standard Blue Yonder capabilities.
- Facilitate business process mapping and functional design workshops to define solution requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications and support solution design documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams during configuration, customization, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Recommend functional best practices and standard Blue Yonder capabilities to optimize business processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Act as the primary functional interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and status discussions.




- Provide functional guidance to project teams and support knowledge sharing across engagements.
- Identify functional risks, dependencies, and solution impacts, and support their resolution.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and overall supply chain strategy.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Blue Yonder Functional Consultant or Functional SME.
- Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following Blue Yonder modules:
- Merchandising Operations
- Fulfill
- Luminate Allocation
- Solid experience conducting fit-gap analysis, business process mapping, and functional design workshops.
- Solid understanding of retail and supply chain business processes, including merchandising, inventory, allocation, and fulfillment.
- Experience supporting implementation projects and production support, including incident and problem management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solution designs.
- Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with end-to-end Blue Yonder implementation or transformation programs.
- Exposure to retail, merchandising, inventory management, and omnichannel fulfillment.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
