Role Description The Video Editor role at Jeel Techsoft is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, engaging content for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, titles, motion graphics, and sound effects, and ensuring consistent branding and visual style across all projects. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, marketers, and developers to understand project goals, implement feedback, and deliver videos optimized for different digital platforms. The Video Editor will also manage video assets,



maintain organized project files, and stay current with trends and best practices in digital video production.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics using software such as After Effects.
- Skills in visual storytelling, pacing, and composition, with a keen eye for detail, color, and sound to create compelling narratives aligned with brand guidelines.
- Experience preparing and optimizing video content for digital marketing channels, including social media platforms, websites, and online advertising campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, marketing, and development teams, interpret briefs, and incorporate feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Basic understanding of audio editing, sound design, and music selection to enhance video impact and audience engagement.
- Familiarity with digital media workflows, file formats, export settings, and asset management for effective handling of multiple projects.
- Relevant education in film, media, design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in video production and editing.
- Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to learning new tools and techniques in line with industry trends.
