We are seeking a senior leader to drive large-scale transition programs and portfolio execution for our expanding India footprint. This includes in-house SEI teams, a rapidly growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, and multiple third-party partner relationships.This role will be responsible for end-to-end technology & operations transition execution, including:Migration of roles from onshore locations into the GCCConversion of partner-delivered services into SEI-owned capabilities (“insourcing”)Establishing disciplined program management and governance across all GCC initiativesYou will act as the central driver of execution—ensuring that transitions are structured, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered with speed, quality, and predictability.This role partners closely with the GCC General Manager, global functional leaders, HR, Finance, and external partners to scale the GCC in a controlled and measurable way.What You Will Do:Transition Strategy & Execution (Core Focus)Lead end-to-end transition programs moving work into the GCC, including:Onshore → offshore role migrationsThird-party → SEI employee conversions (“partner to captive” transitions)Define transition roadmaps, sequencing, and prioritization aligned to business strategyBuild and manage detailed transition plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, and dependenciesOversee knowledge transfer, training, and stabilization to ensure successful handoffs to BAU teamsPartner-to-GCC Conversion (Key Differentiator)Drive structured programs to transition work from external partners into the GCCDevelop business cases for insourcing, including cost, risk,
and capability considerationsCoordinate closely with Procurement, HR, and business stakeholders on:Talent identification and hiring strategiesRole mapping and capability build-outContract transition and exit planningEnsure continuity of service and minimal disruption during transitionsProgram & Portfolio Management (PMO Leadership)Stand up and lead a GCC-wide PMO framework for transitions and strategic initiativesMaintain an integrated portfolio of all transitions, migrations, and GCC programsTrack milestones, dependencies, risks, and advantages realization across workstreamsDrive disciplined execution through standardized tools, templates, and reportingGovernance & ReportingEstablish governance forums, steering committees, and execution cadencesDevelop executive dashboards and report on:Transition progressHiring vs. planCost savings / value realizationDelivery health and risksProvide clear, data-driven insights to senior leadershipWorkforce Planning & Capacity AlignmentPartner with HR and Finance to align hiring plans with transition timelinesEnsure workforce readiness to support incoming transitionsTrack capacity, ramp-up progress, and productivity during scaling phasesRisk,
Issue & Change ManagementProactively identify risks across transitions (delivery, people, knowledge retention, vendor dependencies)Implement mitigation strategies and escalation frameworksManage change impacts across stakeholders during transitionsStakeholder & Cross-Functional LeadershipServe as a key interface across global business leaders, GCC leadership, and external partnersDrive alignment across geographically distributed teamsInfluence outcomes without direct authority in a complex environmentContinuous Improvement & Operating Model EvolutionRefine transition methodologies, playbooks, and templatesIdentify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and repeatability of transitionsSupport the evolution of the GCC operating model as scale increasesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred15+ years of experience in program management, transitions, outsourcing/insourcing, or GCC/shared services environmentsProven track record leading:Large-scale transition programsOnshore → offshore migrationsVendor-to-captive (insourcing) transformationsStrong expertise in PMO leadership, including portfolio tracking, governance, and reportingExperience building business cases and managing complex stakeholder environmentsStrong understanding of workforce planning and ramp-up in GCC modelsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and globally distributed environmentExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with tools such as Power BI, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
