The Role

Turium AI is looking for a hands-on SAP ABAP & Integration Consultant to join our growing SAP practice.

This role is suited to someone with solid experience designing, developing and supporting integrations across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite and third-party enterprise platforms.

The successful candidate will work across ABAP development, RFC connectivity, APIs, integration flows, technical troubleshooting and production support. Experience integrating SAP with SAP Concur is highly desirable.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring direct involvement in development, configuration, testing, deployment and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and support integrations between SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and external enterprise applications.
- Develop ABAP programs, function modules and RFC-enabled function modules.
- Configure and troubleshoot RFC destinations and system connectivity.
- Work with BAPIs, BAdIs, user exits, enhancement frameworks and custom interfaces.
- Develop integrations using SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Integration.
- Build and support interfaces using RFC, IDoc, BAPI, REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP and file-based integration.
- Develop message mappings, transformations, routing rules and validation processes.
- Configure secure API connectivity using OAuth 2.0, certificates and token-based authentication.
- Monitor interfaces, investigate failed messages and support reprocessing.
- Troubleshoot issues across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite and connected platforms.
- Prepare technical specifications, interface designs, data mappings and support documentation.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, client technical teams and integration specialists.
- Support SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration and integration-modernisation initiatives.
- Follow SAP clean-core and supported extension principles.

Required Experience





- Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong experience with RFC, BAPI, IDoc and API-based integration.
- Experience with ABAP Objects, function modules, BAdIs, user exits and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite or SAP Cloud Integration.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, OData and file-based integration.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid SAP environments.
- Understanding of SAP FI/CO processes and financial system integration.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, certificates, SSL/TLS and API security.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and functional stakeholders.

Highly Desirable

- Experience integrating SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA with SAP Concur.
- Experience with SAP Integration with Concur Solutions.
- Experience with ICS connectors and Concur integration components.
- Experience with employee, vendor, cost centre, internal order and WBS integration.
- Experience with expense and invoice posting from SAP Concur into SAP.
- Experience with SAP Concur APIs and custom connector development.
- Experience integrating SAP with finance, HR, payroll, banking or travel-management platforms.
- Experience with CDS views, SAP Gateway, RAP or OData services.
- Experience with SAP BTP, API Management or Event Mesh.
- SAP certification in ABAP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Exper About Turium AI ience delivering solutions for government or regulated enterprise clients.
