Role Description The Retail Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including supervising staff, monitoring store appearance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The role involves driving sales, managing customer interactions, handling escalations, and promoting a customer-centric environment. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to support inventory control, assist with visual merchandising, prepare basic sales reports, and help train and coach team members. The role also includes coordinating shift schedules, maintaining store standards, and contributing to initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and team members.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and create a positive in-store experience.
- Team Management skills, including supervising staff, motivating the team, and supporting training and performance feedback.
- Sales skills, with experience in meeting targets, promoting products, and using basic retail metrics to improve results.
- Previous experience in retail or customer-facing environments, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in managing day-to-day store tasks.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and common office software; familiarity with inventory or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in retail management, business, or a related field is beneficial.
