Elevate is recruiting for Project Manager role for Patent Searching and Analysis Team. The candidate must possess strong exposure in Litigation domain. An individual working as a Project Manager is expected to have a thorough technical understanding since their work would be presented to Chief IP Counsels, Patent Attorneys, Inventors, Patent Engineers, etc. The candidate should have positive command over English language, since the candidate is expected to be able to handle projects end to end independently.

Specifically, the Project Manager will

• Plan, manage, and execute projects end-to-end. Independently conduct validity and invalidity searches.

• Review, validate, and refine search outputs prepared by patent analysts to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.

• Lead and support standard-based invalidity searches, including 3GPP (3G/4G/LTE/5G), ETSI, ITU-T, IEEE, audio/video codecs, and related domains.

• Mentor and guide patent analysts, providing technical feedback and improving team productivity.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Experience

• Minimum - 4 years experience in prior-art searches, with strong exposure to validity and invalidity analysis.

Skills for Success





• Experience managing multiple projects in parallel, including direct execution and review of team deliverables.

• Solid understanding of US and EP patent laws, particularly novelty, inventive step, and invalidity.

• Excellent command over patent search tools such as Orbit, Derwent, and similar platforms.

• Excellent command and proven experience in standard-based searches, including 3GPP, ETSI, ITU-T, IEEE, and related standards ecosystems.

• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage internal teams and client calls.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech (Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and equivalent)
