Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CAE Crash Simulation Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in crashworthiness and occupant safety simulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in finite element analysis (FEA), LS-Dyna crash simulations, and pre-processing tools. The role involves performing high-quality crash simulations, analyzing test and simulation results, and delivering engineering solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Location: Bangalore
Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Perform crash and impact simulations using LS-Dyna for automotive safety applications.
- Develop, prepare, and validate finite element models using industry-standard pre-processing tools.
- Conduct detailed analysis of simulation and physical test results and recommend design improvements.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables while supporting overall project and team objectives.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of simulation activities.
- Develop and implement efficient simulation methodologies to improve engineering processes.
- Handle multiple simulation projects simultaneously while maintaining engineering quality standards.
- Collaborate with design, testing,
and cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project goals.
- Adapt to evolving project requirements and support business needs, including shift-based work when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in CAE Crash Simulation.
- Strong fundamentals in engineering mechanics, finite element analysis (FEA), and crashworthiness.
- Hands-on experience with the following Pre-Processors:HyperMesh
- HyperWorks
- Primer
- LS-PrePost
- Hands-on experience with:
- LS-Dyna (Implicit & Explicit Analysis) – Mandatory
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret simulation and test results.
- Experience taking ownership of project deliverables and supporting team activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to learn current simulation methods, processes, and engineering practices.
- Willingness to work in shifts based on project requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Abaqus.
- Experience in Seatbelt Simulation and Occupant Restraint Systems.
- Exposure to automotive passive safety simulations.
- Relevant CAE certifications or specialized training will be an added advantage.
