Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

- Provide onsite support for the implementation and auditing of the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Interpret and implement client safety standards, including Permit to Work (PTW) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).
- Support plant teams in implementing Safety Management System (SMS) elements and safety culture improvement initiatives.
- Conduct field visits, safety audits, and monitor the effectiveness of SMS implementation.
- Guide cross-functional teams and provide technical support for safety excellence initiatives.
- Conduct awareness sessions and technical training programs on Safety Management System elements.

Preferred Candidate

- 15+ years of experience in Workplace, Health & Safety (EHS).




- Strong experience in Safety Management System (SMS) implementation within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience in PTW, HIRA, Safety Audits, Safety Culture Improvement, and SMS implementation.
- Chemical Engineering degree with M.E. in Industrial Safety, PDIS, ADIS, or an equivalent Safety qualification.
- Strong analytical, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work at Visakhapatnam (Pydi) Gujarat.
