Sunlight Sports Studio is currently seeking a highly driven and creative 3D Artist/CG Generalist Designer to join our team in Bengaluru. This full-time role requires deep expertise in digitally modeling and rendering designs with a core focus on sports shoes and performance wear. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in 3D sculpting, high-fidelity asset creation, and digital look-development. You will play a key role in conceptualizing innovative, functional sports shoe designs, leading seasonal digital asset creation from concept development to production-ready 3D models.

Sunlight Sports Studio LLP is a dynamic sports equipment retail and marketing company. We handle creative strategy and marketing for major sports brands like Li-Ning and Hundred in India. Our work spans digital campaigns, content creation, and retail activations that bring sports gear to life.

Skills & Responsibilities

- High-impact 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering of characters, environments, and props for using Z brush or Blender.
- Any experience in Marvelous Designer, Unreal Engine or Houdini skills would also be preferred.
- Using Substance Painter for Texturing or any 3D software equivalent.
- Designers use Nuke or Fusion to handle look-Development and Compositing.
- Develop engaging, agile 3D motion graphics, cinematic loops and animated visual content for product teasers and brand campaigns.




- Translating 2D concept art and abstract ideas into visually compelling, fully realized 3D models and environments that resonate with target audiences.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Animation, 3D Design, Game Art, Visual Effects (VFX).

- 1–2 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist or CG Generalist, with a strong portfolio showcasing modeling, texturing, lighting and animation.

- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software, particularly Blender, alongside Substance Painter for texturing. Knowledge of (Unreal Engine / Unity) or compositing tools (After Effects) is an advantage.

- Technical skills with a keen understanding of topology, UV unwrapping, PBR workflow, lighting composition and camera framing.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with graphic designers, video editors and marketing teams.

- Detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring optimized file management, clean geometry and efficient render management.

Salary: ₹4,00,000 to ₹7,00,000 / year depending on their experience and technical proficiency.

Working Conditions

- Type: Full-time, on-site at Sunlight Sports Studio LLP.
- Hours: Standard office hours (Mon–Sat), with flexibility required during major festivals, tournament cycle and live sports events.
