To learn and perform garment sewing operations safely and efficiently while achieving the required quality and productivity standards under the guidance of supervisors and trainers.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend all sewing skill and safety training sessions.
- Learn to operate sewing machines and use sewing tools correctly.
- Stitch garment components as per operation standards and work instructions.
- Follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned operations.
- Maintain the required quality standards and minimize defects.
- Handle fabric and garment pieces carefully to avoid damage.
- Meet daily learning, quality, and productivity targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices at the workstation.
- Wear the prescribed PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
- Report machine issues, quality concerns, or production delays to the Team Leader.
- Work cooperatively with trainers, supervisors, and team members.
- Comply with company policies, attendance rules, and discipline.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8th/10th Pass (preferred).
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Prior sewing experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
