Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Rampurhat subdivision in West Bengal for Field Sales Executive, Senior Executive, and Group Lead positions. Team members will visit local merchants and businesses to promote Paytm’s payment solutions, onboard new users, and support them with app setup, UPI linking, and transaction guidance.

The role involves achieving sales and activation targets, conducting regular follow-ups, and maintaining strong relationships with merchants to encourage consistent usage of Paytm services.

Group

Leads will additionally oversee small teams, provide training, monitor performance, and ensure effective coverage of assigned territories.



All positions require active fieldwork, accurate reporting of daily activities, and close collaboration with regional managers to grow Paytm’s presence in the area.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain digital payment products clearly to diverse customers.
- Candidates should possess basic digital literacy and comfort using smartphones, apps, and UPI-based payment systems.
- Candidates should possess sales and negotiation skills, including lead generation, relationship-building, and closing deals with merchants.
- Candidates should possess customer service and problem-solving skills, ensuring prompt support and resolution of merchant queries.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to manage field visits, reporting, and target achievement effectively.
- Relevant experience in field sales, fintech, banking, or retail is beneficial; prior leadership experience is preferred for Group Lead roles.
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a graduate degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Rampurhat subdivision, travel within assigned areas, and speak local languages along with basic English or Hindi.
