Candidate must be able to Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
Separates products that do not meet the desired technical specification, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment.
Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems.
Trains others in the use of measurement equipment, segregation of non-conforming product and documentation.
Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the Company.
Candidate must have knowledge of;
- Operation of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Quality documentation and reporting
Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspection of machined and manufactured components.
- Conduct CMM measurements and generate inspection reports.
- Verify product conformity according to drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve product quality.
- Non-conformance management - Booking and releasing of NC parts, Entry and disposing in oracle.
- Calibration lab management - Releasing Calibration schedule to stakeholder and ensure all plant level gauges / equipments are calibrated.
Qualifications
Diploma with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets to the requirement.
