Associate Consultant- Security Incident Management (SIRT)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about technology and looking to kickstart your career in a world-leading insurance company? AXA Group Operations is offering an exciting opportunity for young, dynamic individuals to join our [Cyber Defense Security Operations - Security Incident Response team].

Responsibilities:

Security Incident Response and Management:

- Develop and maintain the organization's incident response plan and procedures.
- Monitor security systems and logs for potential security incidents, and entity cyber-security protections.
- Investigate security incidents to determine their scope, cause, and impact.
- Coordinate the response to security incidents, working closely with other teams such as IT, Businesses, Application, and Support.
- Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on the status of security incidents.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver security incident response improvement through use-case analysis, and new threats.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities and ensure that our incident response plans are effective against them.
- Participate in incident response roadmap, vision and strategy exercise to ascertain and improve our incident response capabilities.

Hard Skills:





- Proven experience in investigating and responding to security incidents
- Strong knowledge of information security concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Ability to learn recent technologies
- Knowledge of SIEM and relevant Cyber Security product such as MS Sentinel, MS ADX, Arcsight, SOAR and etc.
- Possess relevant skills in reporting tool (ie, MS Office, Power BI, etc)

Soft Skills:

- Excellent writing and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status
- Detail oriented, organized, methodical, follow up skills with an analytical thought process
- Innovative and efficiency focused
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant courses
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SOC and/or Security Incident Management process
- Relevant cybersecurity professional certification is an advantage (ie, CISSP, Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), etc)
