We are looking Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance- Engineer for Pune Chakan location

The Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance- Engineer shall be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production machinery, Utility and office equipment's and overall plant infrastructure in align with requirement of Quality & EOH&S; and statutory/legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute annual, monthly, weekly, and daily maintenance schedules in coordination with the Production Department to minimize equipment downtime and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Analyse equipment failures using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring breakdowns maintenance.
- Ensure timely inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including Pneumatic/hydraulic presses, welding machines Decoiler, laser cutting machine, robotic welding, air compressors, EOT cranes, pumps, cooling systems, paint booth, shot blasting unit, lathe and drilling machine, material handling equipment, and utilities, and plant infrastructure.
- Maintain equipment history cards, preventive maintenance records, breakdown reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance checklists, calibration and third-party testing records of pressure guesses, lifting tools and tackles, pressure vessels and all related maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores Departments to ensure the availability of critical spare parts, consumables, maintenance tools, and equipment while optimizing inventory levels.
- Identify, evaluate, and supervise maintenance and service providers, ensuring quality workmanship, timely completion of work, and compliance with Quality, Safety, Health and Workplace (QSHE) requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's Management System including ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System), and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safe maintenance practices by implementing Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Risk assessments, and ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Prepare and monitor the maintenance budget, control maintenance expenditure, optimize maintenance costs.
- Participate in Quality & EOH&S; Management Systems internal audits, external certification audits, customer audits, statutory inspections, and management review meetings, ensuring timely closure of audit observations and corrective actions related to the Maintenance Department.
- Support the installation, commissioning, validation, and performance improvement of new machinery, utilities, and engineering projects to enhance plant productivity and operational excellence.
- Ensure effective housekeeping of the maintenance workshop, maintenance stores, tools, and work areas in accordance with 5S principles and company standards.
- Perform any other maintenance- or engineering-related responsibilities assigned by the Plant Manager or Engineering Head to support organizational objectives.
