- Supervise Personnel: Lead, schedule, and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.
- Maintenance Planning: Coordinate preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on boilers, turbines, and generators.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
- System Monitoring: Oversee control room operations and respond to system alarms or equipment failures.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions to minimize plant downtime.
- Contractor Management: Supervise external vendors during major plant outages and overhauls.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education:



High school diploma required; an Associate degree or technical certification in engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: Typically 5 to 7+ years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Certifications: Stationary Engineer license or specific regional power plant operator certifications are often mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of high-pressure steam systems, gas turbines, electrical grids, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). [1]
