Job Description: A Mechanical Maintenance Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees all mechanical maintenance operations to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities run efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, managing a team of technicians, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical failures, managing budgets and parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance Planning & Execution: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Team Management: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance technicians and engineers.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure timely repairs.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Establish and oversee programs for preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company safety policies and regulatory standards.
- Budget & Inventory:



Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee the procurement and management of spare parts.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze maintenance data and trends to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills
- Robust leadership and people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with other departments.
