To be a part of the Plant Engineering team for maintaining the equipment and processes so as to ensure zero accidents, zero quality incidents and zero breakdowns and to achieve the plant productivity
To support shift teams to deliver the targets
Position reports to : Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation
Positions peer with : B.Tech & Diploma Engineer
Positions reporting : ITI Technicians and Contract manpower
Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators):
- Adherence to plant safety procedures and ensure Zero safety incidents
- Ensure uptime of equipment> 95%
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance for electrical systems
- 100% PM compliance
- Procurement of spares and ensuring its 100% availability
- Monitoring the Power consumption per KL of Paint Production
- Adherence to budgeted cost
- Capability building in the technicians
- Documentation updating and maintaining (IMS, legal, dept record, PM checklist etc)
Critical Tasks:
- Comply with applicable electrical codes and strict adherence to statutory requirements
- Impart required training to the team members
- Motivate the team to increase productivity and to achieve goals
- Handling shift breakdowns, finding the root cause and eliminating it so that it will not repeat again.
- Carrying out the preventive maintenance activities as per schedule
- Ensuring of Minimum stock availability of Critical spares
- Preparation of Power reports on daily basis and doing its analysis
- Ensuring 100% compliance on statutory requirements related to Electrical installations
- Maintaining the documents related to PM check lists, Breakdown analysis, Power consumption report and Status of critical spares
- Handling ITI technicians & getting the field work executed.
- Maintain necessary documents as part of the above system

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Educational Background and Work Experience:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years work experience
Competencies:
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Up to date with relevant statutory requirements
- Planning and coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Achievement orientation, Customer centric
- Communication skills
