Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to ensure accuracy and integrity in our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Analyze financial data and report on financial performance.
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants or finance staff.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
