We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer with a robust background in electrical projects to join our team for a Data Centre Project in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards across all processes, materials, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Testing:
- Develop and determine standards for inspections and tests on all procedures.
- Oversee testing methods and ensure adherence to quality standards. Supervise and implement test and inspection schedules, ensuring strict adherence to procedures.
- Coordinate with various teams to conduct quality audits on processes and systems.
Material Quality:
- Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to maintain material quality.
Team Training & Compliance:
- Assist employees in understanding quality standards and ensuring compliance with manuals and procedures.
- Work with contractors and suppliers to uphold quality in all systems.
Safety & Hazard Management:
- Manage the lifting of equipment and storage of hazardous materials safely.
- Perform quality audits as per required schedules.
Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse non-conformance processes and documents, ensuring optimal quality is maintained.
- Prepare monthly reports on quality performance and documentations.
- Monitor all project activities and analyse processes to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Recommend corrective actions for non-compliance and maintain effective quality assurance systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA/QC for electrical projects.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of quality assurance standards and processes.
- Hands-on experience in quality inspections, audits, and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
