We are seeking an experienced and driven Team Lead – Overseas Counselling to manage and guide a team of counsellors while delivering high-quality student advisory services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in overseas education counselling, particularly across multiple destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of overseas education counsellors
- Provide expert counselling to students aspiring to study abroad
- Guide students through the entire process: course selection, applications, and admissions
- Ensure high conversion rates from enquiries to enrolments
- Stay updated on international education trends, visa processes, and admission requirements
- Conduct training sessions and performance reviews for team members
- Build and maintain relationships with partner universities and institutions
- Handle escalations and provide solutions to complex student cases
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in overseas education counselling
- Proven experience handling destinations such as UK, Ireland, USA, and Europe
- Prior experience in a team handling or leadership role is preferred
- Robust communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Good understanding of admission and visa processes for multiple countries
