- Supervise day-to-day fabrication operations (cutting, welding, fitting, etc.).
- Ensure production targets, schedules, and deadlines are met.
- Monitor work progress and address any delays or issues.
- Monitoring vendor production & ensure target are met.
2. Workforce Management:
- Assign tasks to fabrication workers based on skills and availability.
- Monitor team performance and productivity.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure fabricated components meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for inspections.
- Identify and correct defects or rework issues on the shop floor.
4. Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and PPE usage.
5. Resource Management:
- Monitor usage of raw materials, tools, and equipment.
- Request or coordinate the HOD of fabrication.
- Minimize material wastage and improve cost efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily production reports, manpower records, and shift logs.
- Report progress, issues, and delays to higher management.
- Ensure proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and work orders.
7. Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate with Design, Planning, Welding, and Assembly teams.
- Attend review meetings and update on production status.
8. Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or B-Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- Auto-Cad knowledge.
- Basic computer knowledge (Ms-Excel, word, power point)
9. Experience Required:
- 1-2 years in manufacturing Industry.
- Relevant field experience will be extra advantage.
- Knowledge of documentation.
- Handling contractor & contact labour.
