Vijaya Diagnostic Center PVT LTD., Amrutha Business Complex, Opp: Lal Bungalow, Ameerpet, Hyderabad - 16 VDC/HR/JD/16/05 Designation : Technician Department : X-ray Scope : This Position holds the following roles and responsibilities in the department of X Ray and OPG Roles and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities 1.Performs diagnostic radiographs to include but not limited to : Proper positioning and radiology technique while adhering to radiation safety guidelines and universal precautions. Proper placement of the imagining equipment at the correct height and angle relative to the patients body to produce the radiograph needed. Proper measurements taken to determine the minimum effective amount of radiation needed to gather the appropriate image, and set the control controls accordingly. Prepare patients (if needed) for radiography/ procedures and take radiographs following established procedures for patient care and safety. Maintain repeat rate of 2 % or less post processing of films. Preparation of x-ray films with request for reading by radiologist. Assistance to radiologist is conducting special procedures.
