Job Summary
Core Focus: Providing deep technical expertise, hands-on coding, detailed design implementation, problem-solving, and ensuring technical quality and best practices are applied at a granular level within their assigned domain.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on Development & Coding: Write, review, and optimize critical or complex code components for the NG-IM system (e.g., core backend logic, complex algorithms for demand forecasting, intricate integration points). Lead by example in coding standards, test-driven development (TDD), and clean code principles.
Detailed Technical Design & Implementation: Translate high-level architectural designs (provided by the Architecture Lead) into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans for specific features, user stories, or modules. Make practical technical decisions for their area, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture.
Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Mentor and guide less experienced developers within their team, helping them with technical challenges, code structure, and debugging. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, performance, security, and maintainability.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical point of contact and subject matter expert for complex issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks within their domain.



Proactively identify and resolve technical roadblocks encountered by the development team.
Component Ownership & Technical Debt Management: Take technical ownership of specific system components or modules, ensuring their long-term health, scalability, and maintainability. Identify and advocate for solutions to address technical debt within their area.
Collaboration & Communication: With Architecture Lead: Provide feedback on architectural decisions from an implementation perspective, highlighting potential challenges or opportunities. Ensure their team's implementation aligns perfectly with the architectural vision. With Business Analysis Lead: Clarify functional requirements, help break them down into technical tasks, and estimate effort accurately. Ensure the technical solution precisely meets the business need. With Implementation Lead: Report on technical progress, challenges, and risks. Collaborate on resource allocation and task distribution within the development team. With QA Team: Work closely with QA to understand testing needs, assist in debugging, and ensure testability of components.
Technical Standards & Best Practices Enforcement: Ensure the development team rigorously adheres to established coding standards, security protocols, performance guidelines, and development processes.

Skill Requirements
Java Full Stack Development (Front end and Backend), Should have prior experience in building Micro-Front End, Additionally any AI enabler tools to quick track the migration. Having prior experience with migrating Mainframe system is a plus.
