Job Summary
Network Voice, Cisco IPTVoice ops L3 support Job description
• 10-15 years’ experience
• Good communication skills
• Provides L3 support for complex voice and UC issues across the enterprise.
• Supports telephony and voice test infrastructure equipment and software.
• Maintains architecture documentation for long‑term voice service development.
• Provides deep troubleshooting of CUCM, CUC, gateways, SBCs, and voice routing.
• Performs detailed analysis of SIP signaling, call flows, and packet captures.
• Supports Cisco‑centric VOIP, SIP‑based calling, and call routing issues.
• Provides full L3 support for Jabber softphone, including login, registration, audio issues, presence, certificates, and configuration fixes.
• Supports hard phones (Cisco IP Phones), including firmware, templates, registration, and device provisioning issues.
• Troubleshoots softphone/hard phone call failures, RTP problems, and device behavior.
• Coordinates with network teams to resolve QoS, LAN/WAN, and transport‑level issues.
• Participates in major incident bridges for high‑impact or chronic voice outages.
• Works with vendors to escalate bugs, apply patches, and process RMAs.
• Ensures smooth lifecycle management of voice devices and hardware replacements.
• Provides knowledge transfer, documentation, and mentorship to L1/L2 teams.
• Drives Problem Management by identifying recurring issues and implementing permanent fixes.
• Creates RCA/PIR documentation and ensures long‑term corrective actions are completed.
• Participates in Change Management by reviewing, planning,
and executing changes safely.
• Coordinates with vendors for escalations, software bugs, and chronic device failures.
