Principal Engineer II - Piping Layout

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Within the framework of project execution environment, execute & deliver the assigned Piping Work Packages - within contractual requirements, quality, schedule and overall cost effectiveness - in order to meet the overall Project objectives / targets

Main Accountabilities
1. Execute plant layout / cold box layout, piping basic and detail design, piping stress calculations, piping materials management, demonstrating ownership in his/her discipline for HSE, technical, cost and schedule within the project
2. Review and comment the Engineering documents (P&ID;, mechanical design, drawings) established by Process team, suppliers or subcontractors, in his/her field of competency
3. In charge of modifying drawings and technical documents according to suggestions on review sheet;
4. Provide Technical requirements to Procurement team for Materials Requisition ?
5. Establish basic and detailed drawings of Piping, in accordance with the design and construction code
6. Provide support and inputs in proposal development, by providing Piping technical solutions and quantity estimate
7. Provide Site assistance to reply to Site queries
8.



Coordinate and collaborate with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning

Differentiating Criteria
1) Level of Autonomy: Application of standards & Procedure. Management supervision is provided on a weekly basis. Manager approval is oftenly required
2) Projects scope & complexity: - moderately complex project execution of Engineering & Procurement (EP) scope only Front End Engineering Design (FEED)

Are you a MATCH?
1. Mechanical Engineering Degree (Bachelor's)
2. 11+ years of experience in Piping Layout
3. Able to implement the technical standards and regulations well and hold a junior technical engineer certificate or above;
4. Tool proficiency: PDS, Smartplant SP3D - SP3D, SPR, Naviswork, Microstation, AutoCAD
