Job Summary
This role oversees the strategic direction and operational excellence of disaster recovery exercise management and technology strategy initiatives. The individual ensures robust DR frameworks, drives process optimization, and aligns technology solutions with business continuity objectives. They empower teams, foster innovation, and play a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction through expert problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead disaster recovery exercise management by developing, executing, and refining DR test plans using industry-standard tools and frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational DR technology strategy.
2. Oversee the implementation and optimization of DR automation tools and backup technologies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize recovery time objectives (RTOs) across large-scale IT environments.
3. Provide expert guidance on DR technology strategy by evaluating emerging technologies, recommending improvements,



and driving adoption of best-in-class solutions to strengthen business continuity.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to analyze and interpret client DR requirements, ensuring operational processes and solutions meet or exceed client SLAs and compliance standards.
5. Mentor and empower DR teams by sharing expert knowledge, facilitating transparent communication of DR objectives, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous process improvement.
6. Identify, assess, and resolve complex DR challenges by devising strategic solutions that address business risks and enhance organizational resilience.

Skill Requirements
1. Excellent Knowledge Of Dr Automation Tools (E.G., Ibm Resiliency Orchestrator, Azure Site Recovery, Vmware Srm) And Backup/Recovery Technologies
2. Advanced Skills In Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, And Regulatory Compliance Frameworks (E.G., Iso 22301, Nist Sp 80034)
3. Expert Ability To Develop And Refine Dr Processes, Test Plans, And Reporting Mechanisms
4. Excellent Communication, Team Leadership, And Problem-Solving Skills In High-Complexity Environments

Other Requirements
1. Recommended: Certified Business Continuity Qualified (CBCP), Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) Certification, or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer (optional but valuable)
