3. Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
4. Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational performance metrics.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Experience in managing the Database Team
7. Technical Expert on MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL Administration
8. HandsOn experience on HA, DR deployment on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
9. Database Migration and Optimization expertise on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
10. Database Performance management on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
11. Database Consolidation and Capacity management (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)

Key Responsibilities
L3 Support & Escalation Handling
• Own and resolve P1/P2 major incidents independently




• Act as the final escalation point for database-related issues
• Lead troubleshooting across infrastructure, application, and DB layers
• Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 teams

Database Architecture & Design
• Design and optimize database architecture
• Perform capacity planning, data modeling, and storage design
• Define best practices for database deployment and scalability

Performance Tuning & Optimization
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues
• Optimize queries, indexing strategies, and execution plans
• Use advanced tools (DMV, Query Store, performance monitoring tools)

High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Implement and manage HA/DR solutions: Always On Availability Groups
• Replication (Transactional, Snapshot, Merge)
• Log Shipping
