Role and responsibilities for the recent engineering leader
Must be a hands-on senior engineering leader who can build the engineering capability from the ground up (product development, SRE, information security).
Must provide thought leadership, set strategy, define how to achieve hiring and delivery goals (not to be spoon-fed).
:recruit/scale engineering org and demonstrate ROI from hires and delivery.
Will be expected to integrate engineering into the broader India organization (no tech vs non-tech divide).
Will own hiring approach, team structure, interview process, and operational practices.

Prefers someone who comes from a start up setting

Preferred candidate profile & experience




Robust startup experience is preferred (leader who has built teams/organizations).
Exposure to fraud or banking SaaS product is a plus but not mandatory.
Should be comfortable owning strategy for software development, SRE, and infosec.
Must be able to travel between Gurugram and Bangalore if based in Gurugram (frequent travel to Bangalore expected).

Location & working model
Preferred location: Bangalore.
Work model: hybrid (2–3 days/week in office). Teams choose specific in-office days in coordination with the leader.
