Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions on Snowflake Cloud (Azure) Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Snowflake and prior experience with Teradata or other enterprise databases, ensuring smooth migration and integration of data systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines in Snowflake.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Migrate data from Teradata or other legacy databases to Snowflake.
• Optimize data storage, compute resources, and query performance.
• Implement data security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.




• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience
• Technical Expertise:
o Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
o Proficiency in SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
o Experience with Teradata or other enterprise databases (Oracle, DB2, etc.).
o Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, or similar).
o Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Additional Skills:
o Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure).
o Exposure to data governance and security frameworks.
• Soft Skills:
o Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or database development.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

Nice-to-Have
• Experience with Snowflake performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies from Teradata to Snowflake.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
