Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 Synon (CA 2E) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM iSeries (AS400) systems and hands-on experience with Synon for application development, maintenance, and enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Synon (CA 2E) on AS400.
• Perform coding, debugging, and unit testing of RPG, SQL and CL programs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.




• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Optimize and modernize legacy applications.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Provide support for existing applications, utilizing tracking and incident management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

Skill Requirements
• Robust proficiency in Synon (CA 2E), RPG/400, RPGLE, SQL, CL/400.
• Experience with DB2/400 and query tools like WRKQRY.
• Familiarity with PNC Insurance Domain.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Other Requirements
• AS400 Certified Systems Administrator (ASCSA) or AS400 Certified Application Developer (ASCAD) preferred.
