Job Summary
This role provides foundational technical support for Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. The position is responsible for responding to user incidents, resolving basic platform issues, and ensuring service quality through adherence to process standards and timely escalation of complex problems. They contribute to maintaining operational excellence and a positive user experience within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues in Azure IaaS environments, including VM provisioning, connectivity, and resource access, using Azure Portal and remote desktop tools.
Provide initial support for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) by monitoring cluster health, responding to container deployment queries, and escalating advanced incidents as necessary.




Utilize Azure DevOps to check status of deployments and assist with straightforward pipeline-related queries, escalating complex issues appropriately.
Log, track, and update incident details in ticketing systems, ensuring accurate worklogs and proper shift handover.
Adhere to established SLAs, quality standards, and escalation processes when managing support tickets.
Maintain high availability during shifts and contribute to knowledge base updates for recurring Azure platform issues.
Collaborate with team members to resolve support requests and participate in routine team discussions for continuous improvement.

Skill Requirements
Basic understanding of Azure IaaS core services such as virtual machines, storage, and networking.
Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) concepts, including container orchestration and cluster basics.
Fundamental knowledge of Azure Portal navigation and remote desktop troubleshooting tools.
Exposure to Azure DevOps and basic pipeline operations.
Valuable communication skills for effective ticket handling and user interaction.

Other Requirements
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) is optional but valuable.
