Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary

Sri Medha Educational Institutions is looking for a sincere, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Cashier to manage day-to-day cash transactions, student fee collections, and financial records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.

Key Responsibilities
Collect tuition fees, examination fees, hostel fees, and other student payments.
Issue fee receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
Handle cash, UPI, cheque, and bank transactions efficiently.
Verify daily cash collections and prepare cash closing reports.
Deposit collections into the bank as per institutional procedures.
Maintain petty cash and record all expenses accurately.
Reconcile cash balances with accounting records on a daily basis.
Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding fee records and student ledgers.
Assist students and parents with fee-related queries and payment clarifications.
Maintain confidentiality of financial records and student information.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records.




Ensure compliance with institutional financial policies and procedures.

Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or any equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier or in Accounts (educational institution experience preferred).
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
Basic understanding of banking procedures and financial documentation.
Robust numerical ability and attention to detail.

Customer-friendly attitude while interacting with students and parents.

Preferred Candidate
Age: 22–35 Years
Immediate joining preferred.
Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
