Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the Grant Thornton audit approach, methodology, and tools
Demonstrate working knowledge of auditing and technical accounting
Execute components of audit under a remote service delivery model efficiently
Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, applying this knowledge on engagements
Demonstrate flexibility and agility in serving clients
Follow instructions from seniors and provide guidance to Analysts
Assist with on-the-job training and coaching of Analysts and current Associates
Anticipate project issues and take appropriate actions to resolve them
Conduct Skype calls with the US team to foster positive relationships
Attend professional development and training sessions regularly
Understand and adapt to the Grant Thornton corporate culture
Participate in the buddy program
Utilize basic analytical, technical, and accounting skills
Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools
Exhibit solid interpersonal skills
Manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
Demonstrate basic people management skills
Resolve questions of Analysts with problem-solving abilities
Communicate clearly, both in writing and orally, with seniors and others
Write professional emails effectively
