Key Job Responsibilities1. Plantation & Field Management
Crop Care: Supervise daily agricultural practices including planting, uprooting, pruning, and fertilizing.
Weather & Pests: Monitor weather conditions and implement pest control, irrigation, and drainage systems.
Harvesting: Plan and monitor plucking schedules to ensure the optimum yield and quality of tea leaves. [1, 2, 3]
Factory & Production Operations
Processing: Oversee the tea processing unit, including withering, rolling, fermentation, drying, and sorting.
Quality Control: Conduct routine quality inspections and tea tasting sessions to maintain high production standards.
Supply Chain: Coordinate with tea auction houses, evaluate buyers, and negotiate favorable prices for the finished product. [1]
Workforce Management
Labor Supervision: Manage and coordinate large teams of field laborers, supervisors, and administrative staff.
Welfare & Relations: Address workforce issues, maintain labor discipline, and ensure community relations and housing upkeep.

Administration & Finance
Budgeting: Prepare, track, and manage the estate’s annual operational budgets.
Cost Optimization: Analyze operating expenses to optimize resource usage and reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
Reporting: Collect data on weather patterns, production yields, and labor hours to report to general management. [1, 2, 3]
Compliance & Infrastructure
Upkeep: Ensure the maintenance of estate infrastructure, buildings, and processing machinery.
Regulations: Ensure all field and factory practices adhere to government labor laws, workplace safety standards, and environmental regulations (like Rainforest Alliance or organic certifications). [1, 2, 3]
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
