Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate machining tools like lathe, milling, shaping, and grinding machines as per instructions.
Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints to produce components.
Assist in assembling mechanical parts used in electrical & electronics systems and machinery.
Support production and maintenance teams by machining precision parts and tools.
Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of machines and tools before use.
Ensure machining quality by measuring dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other
gauges.
Should be able to do tooling validation and record specifications as per drawing of the tool / fixture
(this involves measurement of tooling/ fixture dimensions as per drawing and subsequently
product level parameters)
Maintain clean and safe work areas as per 5S and workplace safety standards.
Support in tool setting, calibration, and machine setup for different machining jobs.
