We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst QA professional with robust knowledge of software testing fundamentals and exposure to the Mutual Fund domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting quality assurance activities through effective test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand business and functional requirements for testing activities
Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, and system testing
Identify, document, and track software defects
Coordinate with Development and Business teams for issue resolution
Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing processes
Participate in requirement analysis and review discussions
Support testing activities across different phases of SDLC and STLC
Perform basic database validation where required
Required Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Testing Fundamentals
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies
Hands-on experience in Manual Testing
Ability to write Test Cases and Test Scenarios
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of MS SQL
Exposure to Database Testing
Domain Expertise:
Mutual Fund Domain knowledge is mandatory
Soft Skills & Competencies:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding and analytical abilities
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Valuable presentation and coordination skills
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Essential Requirements:
Mutual Fund Domain knowledge is mandatory
Understanding of basic software testing concepts
Knowledge of SDLC/STLC processes
Ability to prepare and execute test cases independently
Basic knowledge of defect lifecycle management
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or a related field
Professional Certifications:
ISTQB Certification preferred
Certification in Software Testing will be an added advantage
Experience Required:
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing
