Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of passenger or commercial vehicles.
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults.
Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
Maintain service records, job cards, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with service advisors and customers regarding repair status.
Mentor and guide junior technicians when required.
Ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of automobile systems and vehicle diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with engines, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer knowledge for service documentation.




Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility
Diploma in Automobile Engineering (Mandatory).
5–10 years of relevant experience in an automobile dealership, service center, or automotive manufacturing industry.
Experience with passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, or heavy vehicles is preferred.
Valid driving license is an added advantage.
