Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, managing distributors/dealers, and leading a team of sales executives within the assigned territory. The role focuses on customer relationship management, business development, and implementing company sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Manage and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
Develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned area.
Identify current business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key customers.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
Conduct regular market visits to support the sales team and customers.
Train, coach, and evaluate sales representatives.
Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).




3–8 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, consumer durables, manufacturing, or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
